Job Overview
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Lifescape Colorado will be responsible for leading and managing both the sales and marketing teams to achieve the company's revenue and growth objectives. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales and business development plans that drive revenue growth and brand awareness. You will ensure tactical sales accountability and implement processes to achieve results. Additionally, you will partner with the operations team to ensure outstanding client experience and profitability. By aligning marketing strategies with company goals, you will lead initiatives that enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve annual and future goals and objectives.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the sales and marketing teams to drive high performance.
- Guide the sales team in achieving annual landscape design project and enhancement project sales goals, maintenance sales goals, identifying opportunities, and developing strategies for new and existing clients.
- Develop sales processes, meet with and manage the sales team weekly, coaching to ensure on purpose follow-up and achievement of sales goals. Manage the company CRM, maintain an active sales pipeline, and provide regular updates to teams and senior leadership.
- Foster strong internal and external relationships by living, leading, and training our team on our service non-negotiables, and building relationships with our current team, clients, and the luxury client market.
- Ensure alignment between sales and landscape production teams with construction and operations schedules, timeliness, and quality deliverables to set projects and teams up for success.
- Cultivate relationships by attending association events and organizing events with trade partners (architects, designers, contractors, vendors) to generate business and lead opportunities.
- Monitor market and economic trends and customer preferences to determine the focus of sales and marketing efforts.
- Oversee the development and implementation of sales and marketing training programs.
- Prepare and manage the marketing plan and budget and approve expenditures.
- Manage all marketing efforts internally or with vendors, including print, digital, SEO, social media, photography, award submissions, and HR support.
- Conduct client satisfaction NPS surveys with best practice follow-up.
- Coordinate with Operations leadership to identify sales and growth opportunities based on operational capacity.
- Work cross-functionally with Operational and Construction teams to drive sales, efficiencies, and white-glove client service expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in sales, marketing, or design management, preferably within the luxury client service market
- Proven track record of leading and managing teams, sales pipelines, and marketing plans and campaigns.
- 5-7 years of management experience.
- Track record of driving deep pipeline knowledge and accountability with sales teams through CRM systems and processes.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing performance metrics and data analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience partnering with operational and production teams on complex projects.
- Ability to develop and implement integrated sales and marketing strategies.
- Experience with CRM software, marketing automation tools, and sales analytics tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
