Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate residential and commercial landscaping projects from start to finish.
- Lead and mentor 2-3 crews, delegating tasks effectively and monitoring performance.
- Train crew members on industry best practices, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Conduct regular safety and equipment inspections to maintain a compliant and efficient work environment.
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Perform light maintenance and conduct inventory checks for tools and machinery.
- Communicate project updates and prepare weekly progress reports.
- Onboard new hires and facilitate ongoing crew training sessions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in landscaping; prior leadership roles preferred.
- Licenses: Valid driver's license (CDL Class A preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting landscaping blueprints and designs.
- Skilled in operating landscaping tools and technology.
- Ability to manage crews and work under tight deadlines.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (degree in landscape construction is a plus).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in diverse weather conditions.
