Pay: $20- $25 an hour- Full-time
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, mowing, turf management, and pesticide application
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- 1+ years of experience as a crew lead, foreman, or supervisor in related fields
- Ability to walk on steep slopes and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to bend, stoop, and work around environmental risks (e.g., bees, poison ivy)
- Safety-conscious with chemicals and equipment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Adhere to Dragonfly's policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities
Working under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, this is a field-based position and functions as an integral component to the smooth and profitable execution of work in the field. While each project is different, the crew lead responsibilities encompass the following:
- Mowing, string trimming, pruning stormwater ponds.
- Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
- Schedule and monitor daily workloads.
- Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day.
- Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings.
- Prepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the company.
- Safe driving of company owned vehicles trucks (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members.
- Maintain on-site relations and communications with clients, contractors and/or subcontractors.
- Overnight travel within and to nearby States is required 25%-75% of the time.
Safe Operation And Maintenance Of The Following Equipment
- Mowers - Stand on, walk behind, Ventrac.
- Edgers, string trimmers and chain saws
- Backpack blowers and sprayers
- Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools.
