Our client is seeking a Maintenance Account Manager in their Spring Hill, TN Office.
Position Overview
Responsible for managing the existing customer relationships and revenue growth through enhancement sales based on a knowledge of all aspects of landscape production and service.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Manages daily customer relationships to ensure continuous sales growth and excellent customer service
Responds to customer questions related to various topics of landscape installation, landscape maintenance, and snow removal
Conducts consistent walk-through with customers to identify and document any and all discrepancies or concerns
Coordinates with the Maintenance Operations Manager on estimates for jobs based on labor, job demands, and current pricing
Ensures work tickets are managed according to the schedule and within budget
Responsible for inspecting properties and ensuring that quality standards are met
Maintains continuous communication with internal and external contacts including vendors, subcontractors, service providers, and customers
Monitors and analyzes the financial performance of all work tickets to ensure timeliness, profitability, and quality
Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
Participates in leadership meetings and other companywide initiatives as needed
Manages marketing and promoting of various services and products to new and existing customers
Performs snow removal duties during snow season while ensuring proper safety procedures as necessary
Position may perform other duties as assigned
Education, Knowledge And Experience
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree preferred, horticulture degree preferred; combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities
Skills And Qualifications
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks
Knowledge of horticulture including plants, shrubs, and other plants as well as weeds, pests, insects, horticultural diseases, moss, and plant disorders
Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills
Microsoft Office Suite / PC proficiency
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
WORKING CONDITIONS AND EMPLOYMENT STATUS
Extended work hours during peak seasons
Requires moderate physical activity performing activities of a productive and technical nature; regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions of extreme heat and extreme cold; potential exposure to loud noise; potential exposure to air pollution, allergens, dust, pollen, insects, and other potentially harmful naturally occurring hazards; potential exposure to moving mechanical parts and sharp objects
Compensation & Benefits: Salary plus Commission/Bonus, Company Car & Gas Card, 401K 100% match up to 4% and Employer pays 100% of Employee's Medical Benefits.
