Job Description: The right individual will work with sales department and management to provide support to DBD. The candidate will possess a strong knowledge of technology and office operations, as well as a willingness to learn about the business of green waste recycling, soil and organic compost related to the landscape and construction industries.
This person will provide clerical and minor technical support for the sales department including management of electronic quotations in NetSuite, customer relationship management (CRM) databases and sales proposals for prospective customers. Meeting planning and periodic telephone sales calls are essential for the potential advancement into an Inside Sales position through promotion with increased responsibility within the company. Additionally, this person will enhance the DBD's effectiveness by providing information management support and representing the executive to others.

Specific Responsibilities
- Administrative support for day-to-day sales activities which includes answering phones, screening, and directing telephone calls and other administrative sales duties.
- Supports sales team and keeps them aware of bid deadlines and promises.
- Supports sales by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
- Supports DBD's appointment schedule for related sales and marketing activities by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel as needed.
- Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions.
- Assists dispatcher with procedural information; processes and coordinates orders with dispatch when requested.
- Landscaping and/or Construction industry experience a plus.
- Familiarity and/or desire to learn about the landscaping and green waste recycling industry and related products a plus.
- Familiarity and functional knowledge of NetSuite and CRM software a plus.
- Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone with complete professionalism, answering or directing inquiries.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and other duties as assigned.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and professional manner.
- Maintains social media accounts and familiar with business protocol for social media.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Resolves administrative problems by analyzing existing workflow and provides input for improved methods.
