Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of high-end landscaping clients, ensuring quality service and client satisfaction.
- Proactively respond to customer inquiries within 24-48 hours to foster strong relationships.
- Oversee contract renewals, aiming for a 95%+ retention rate.
- Identify and propose property enhancements, achieving a minimum of 25% upsell over base contract revenue.
- Conduct weekly site audits to ensure high-quality standards.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Manage a book of business ranging from $750K $1.25M.
- Meet or exceed $250K in enhancement sales annually at higher rates.
- Achieve a 55%+ gross profit margin on all sales.
Operations & Team Leadership
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring crews meet quality standards and complete jobs efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-day prep meetings to align crews on schedules, tools, and job scopes.
- Ensure safety culture is enforced, including PPE use and DOT log compliance.
- Train and mentor crew leaders, providing weekly 1-on-1s and mid-season performance reviews.
- Monitor GPS tracking to improve route efficiency and productivity.
Equipment & Shop Management
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and operational.
- Keep shop, yard, and maintenance areas clean and organized.
- Communicate with the Operations Manager regarding repairs and inventory restocking.
Seasonal Expectations
- Spring (3/15 6/15): 55+ hrs/week, including Saturdays.
- Summer-Fall (6/15 Snowfall): ~50 hrs/week, Monday-Friday.
- Winter (Snowfall 3/15): 40 hrs/week on non-snow weeks, with snow management duties.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in landscaping, account management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and client relationships effectively.
- Sales-minded with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
