The St. Louis Metro area's experts in outdoor living is looking for a Landscape Design & Sales Consultant who will support the company's growth and success through landscape design, estimating, and sales.
Responsibilities
- Respond to leads and clients quickly
- Design and sell profitable landscape projects
- Achieve yearly personal sales goal
- Develop and submit work orders for sold projects, including change orders if needed
- Network to develop future clients
- Maintain communication and relationships with past and present clients
- Assist others on the sales team with design work, estimates, proposals, and work orders
- Communicate effectively with operations team
- Provide monthly sales reports to Director of Design
- Assist operations team with material purchases and acquisition, when necessary
- Participate in necessary meetings, including bi-weekly 1-on-1 meetings with Director of Design, and weekly and monthly sales team meetings
- Culture: Take pride in your work, support team members, wear company gear with pride, attend company events; and engage, post, and support your team on Slack
Requirements- Proven ability to sell profitable landscape design / build work
- Produce $750,000+ per year in landscape sales
- Possess a positive, outgoing attitude and personality
- 5+ years of sales experience in a related field
- A 2-year degree in Horticulture, landscape construction, or similar is required. A 4-year degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred
- Experience using Realtime Landscaping Architect, Uvision, Dynascapes, or similar CAD programs.
- Experience with industry related software products for estimating, such as LMN, Aspire, Boss, Manage360, GoiLawn, etc.
- Sufficient general computer and technology experience and ability
- Working knowledge of hardscape construction, landscaping, Horticultural practices, and drainage
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong math aptitude is required
- Ability and willingness to work necessary schedule, including occasional early morning starts, and evening and saturday appointments
- Ability to visualize landscape design elements to maximize the aesthetic characteristics of a client's property and desired project
Compensation and Benefits- Base salary + commission. Target 1st year earnings is $75k+
