We have partnered with an engineering design and consulting firm in the Cornelius, NC area to provide them with a Landscape Architect / Land Planner – Team Lead. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Landscape Architect / Land Planner – Team Lead:
#1 Must have a Professional LA or Certified Planner License.
#2. Must have at least 5 years working as a professional Landscape Architect/Designer in a land development office setting.
#3. Must have experience with developing and following a formalized QA/QC program.
#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.
Requirements of the Landscape Architect / Land Planner – Team Lead:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program.
- Certification: Professional registration as a Landscape Architect or Certified Planner.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a professional Landscape Architect/Designer in a land development office setting.
- Project Portfolio: Experience with a diverse and dynamic project portfolio.
- Work Environment: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, and adapt to shifting project priorities and multiple clients.
- Compliance Management: Ability to manage deadlines and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Design Skills: Strong freehand illustration and rendering abilities, with expressive graphics skills in both sketch and finished formats.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with local codes, ordinances, and public agency standards related to land development design and entitlement processes.
- Quality Assurance: Experience in developing and adhering to a formalized QA/QC program.
- Project Understanding: Ability to effectively design projects, including rezonings, site plans, and landscape plans, in accordance with municipal codes and ordinances.
