Production Manager - Enhancements
The ideal candidate for this position will have a wide range of knowledge and experience in the landscaping industry.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scheduling and routing of crews and jobs.
- Identifying needs of projects and purchasing supplies.
- Project scope development.
- Project Oversight.
- Perform proactive site inspections for department to ensure company ideals and client needs are being met and expectations exceeded.
- Collaborating with vendors for materials and supplies.
- Monitor inventory of materials, equipment and other supplies that are on hand to complete production activities.
- Create the ideal customer experience personally and by assisting team members in providing excellent customer service, integrity and professionalism through proactive communication, regular site visits etc.
- Proactive communication and positive business relationships with Branch Manager and other team members.
- Perform job / product costing and profitability, accurate record keeping for department goals.
- Ability to lift heavy objects required.
- Help ensure safety goals are met.
- Attendance at company Leadership and department meetings as required.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrates the vision to identify opportunities, develop strategies and tactics to lead the department to achieving optimum production, service, financial performance, and utmost customer satisfaction.
- Exceptional client-service skills, be a self-starter and take a keen sense of ownership of work and responsibilities.
- Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box.
- Foundation and knowledge in landscape maintenance, design knowledge, plant material and turf required.
- Time management, organizational skills, and ability to set priorities.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 3-4 years of leadership experience, including supervision of managers or supervisory levels as well as front-line employees.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in landscape, land management industry.
- Computer skills: proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, ability to learn industry related software, Aspire, Google Earth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
