PEC's Landscape Architecture team provides a multitude of services including: site analysis, siteinventory, site planning, land planning, planting design, grading, storm water management,sustainable design, construction specification, and ensuring that all plans meet the currentbuilding codes and local and federal ordinances. Position Duties and Responsibilities: · Be an integral part of a project team that works on a variety of projects including, butnot limited to commercial & residential development, parks, sports complexes, zoos,pools, urban design, parks, streets & highways and bicycle & pedestrian facilities.Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications using CADD software.· Conduct preliminary site studies and site master plans.· Provide technical assistance and coordinate with clients and other professionaldisciplines on individual projects.· Visit project sites to monitor construction progress and work quality.· Project management.· Develop new business opportunities and build client relationships.· Prepare supporting graphics for presentations, displays and deliverable work products.· Assist with public presentations, meetings and other community engagement activities.
Qualifications: · An accredited bachelor's degree in landscape architecture is required.· An understanding of regulatory permit requirements, land development practices,zoning and subdivision approval processes and land use planning principles.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Sketchup required.· Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and ESRI ArcGlS is desirable.· A goal to become licensed as a Professional Landscape Architect is required.
