JOB SUMMARY:
Provide leadership and accountability for the efficient, safe and profitable production of enhancement projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/ Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Landscape Architecture or Horticulture, or at least 5 years related work experience
License or Certification
- As required by state and federal law
- Valid driver license issued by the state where employed
- Commercial Pesticide Applicators License, or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) preferred
Specialized Skills
- Experience working the commercial property managers a plus
- Effective oral and written communication
- Familiarity with the safe operation of commercial landscape equipment and tools
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule format
- Knowledge on reading blueprints required
- Intermediate math, with ability to calculate figures such as area and volume
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English, Bilingual in Spanish perferred.
- Ability to speak effectively before employees and clients
- Intermediate experience using design software, including Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD or ProLandscape
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Organizational and time management skills necessary to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Oversee the scheduling of daily work, assignment of daily tasks to Enhancement production staff and ensure timely completion.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with Project Managers on all current and future enhancement projects
- Assist with bid preparation and design
- Analyze and understand cost reports and budget variances related to contract projects
- Prepare monthly forecast of labor and materials, and accurate job costing of work orders
- Meet or exceed budget line items
- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and subcontractors, insuring accountability and quality for price
- Add and update client and project information in CRM software
- Effectively communicate with management and production teams the tasks necessary to provide a consistent, high quality product for clients
- Provide accurate administration of paperwork elements, including timecards, job costing, billing and new employee paperwork.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills; develop morale and recognize employee achievements; foster opportunities for professional development of employees
- Constantly promote and encourage adherence to company policies and best practices
- Indirect supervision of 4-6 Enhancement Crews, Direct supervision of 1-4 Production Managers
- Training, planning, assigning and directing work
- Problem resolution
- Responsible for creating contemporaneous, prompt, and thorough documentation of all coaching, conversations, counseling, and performance management discussions with employees.
- Oversee and direct performance management programs, including reviews, progressive discipline and conflict resolution
- Conduct monthly safety meetings
- Other duties as assigned
