JOB SUMMARY
Our Account Managers (AM) are responsible for supporting landscape maintenance accounts and the skilled Crew Members who care for these accounts. The position drives increased customer satisfaction by delivering SERPICO landscaping quality standards and effective consistent communication. Additionally, the AM will recommend and quote non-contracted landscape management services (extras) to meet the needs and requests of customers, increase their satisfaction, and win additional revenue for the company.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITES:
Manage Quality of Landscaping Maintenance Accounts:
· Demonstrate a genuine commitment to client satisfaction and improving peoples lives through living environments.
· Develop plans and schedules for quality maintenance service and improvement of grounds.
· Efficiently manage water use through active controller management to ensure conservation practices that reduce client water costs during all seasons.
· Have a bias for delivering consistent, responsive communication regardless of the circumstances.
· Inspect grounds regularly to ensure SERPICO standards of maintenance are being delivered with the highest levels of service quality.
· Contribute daily to branch revenue by generating solution-based quotes of small landscape enhancements and irrigation repairs that meet clients needs and/or solve a problem they are experiencing.
Coordinate and Manage Employees:
· Interview, hire, evaluate, and discharge employees as appropriate, in consult with the Branch Manager.
· Ensure employee time records are accurate and track daily work performed.
· Grow employees through coaching and ongoing trainings that focus on landscaping technique, quality, and safety.
· Ensure that safety procedures are trained, followed, and that all PPE and safety equipment is used properly.
· Report workplace injuries or illness as per company policy.
· Determine daily work priorities of the Maintenance Crews and the equipment requirements to execute those daily priorities with high quality.
· Communicate, train, and enforce company policy and practices.
· Help build positive employee relations through team building meetings.
Oversee the Day-to-Day Operations of Your Landscape Maintenance Team
· Seek out and implement strategies to maximize the efficient use of materials and labor.
· Develop partnerships with property managers, outside vendors, and co-workers to accomplish work objectives.
· Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance of all power equipment.
· Maintain proper service reports and regular quality inspection reports of all accounts.
· Review and submit summary of chemical use reports on time and accurately.

Knowledge:
· A broad knowledge of general landscaping maintenance including irrigation controller programming, pruning techniques, plants, tools, safety, and equipment.
· Knowledge of quality standards for customer and landscaping services.
Abilities:
· Bilingual/Spanish (Oral and Written)
· Ability to motivate, develop and direct people as they work.
· Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to all weather conditions.
· Ability to function as part of a highly motivated team.
Physical Activity Requirements:
· Ability to: Lift up to 100 pounds. Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, carry, stand and walk frequently. All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
Hours:
· Monday through Friday with occasional weekends as operational needs arise.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Work Location:
- We are looking to fill seats in the East Bay and Tri-Valley branch offices. This is an in-person position with no hybrid work available.
