Salary: $45,000-$55,000Location: Penderlea Farms – Burgaw, NCOverview:Penderlea Farms is seeking a motivated Sales & Operations Manager to oversee both sales and operational functions. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth coordination between our sales efforts, inventory management, and farm operations. The ideal candidate will split their time between generating sales leads and managing internal operations, including logistics, inventory, and administrative responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement a sales strategy aimed at landscaping companies, nurseries, developers, and other key buyers.Host events, tours, and open houses at the farm to attract new business and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote Penderlea Farms’ offerings.Customer Relationship ManagementIdentify new markets and sales opportunities.Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, addressing any concerns from inquiry to delivery.Provide guidance on tree selection, ensuring customers choose the best options for their needs.Logistics & Inventory ManagementWork closely with farm management to track tree availability and coordinate deliveries.Manage logistics for customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.Keep track of inventory and ensure availability aligns with customer demand.Farm Operations AdministrationOversee reporting on farm expenses and product availability.Assist in budget management, and track key operational metrics such as expenses, sales, and inventory levels.Create and maintain spreadsheets to monitor farm operations and product costs.Provide monthly performance reports and update sales and operations strategies based on data.Monitor pricing structures, ensuring they align with market trends and operational needs.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience, with bonus opportunities.Opportunity to be part of a growing and sustainable industry.
