Job Summary
The Regional Branch Manager oversees the operations of multiple branches. This position is responsible for the effective planning, managing, and execution of all operations for multiple branches.
This position is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Branch operations: Ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the branches are being completed appropriately
- Staffing: Helps to ensure the Branches have the right people in place
- Performance: Monitoring the performance of the Branches
- Compliance: Helps to ensure the Branches are compliant with regulations
- Travel: Spending time in the field
- Client relationships: Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients
- Financial management: Budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring expenses
Essential Job Functions
- Initiate and develop positive business relationships with clients and entities in an effort to cultivate business development and retention
- Work with Branches to ensure that they are maintaining proper staffing levels throughout the branch to meet team goals
- Work with Branches to ensure they meet budget and sales goals, as well as initiates making improvements or changes if needed
- Provide strong leadership to all branch employees including performance management and company policy enforcement
- Work with Branches to analyze operations to determine areas of potential cost reduction and production improvement; develop branch goals and performance objectives
- Work with Branches to prepare annual labor and equipment budgets; monitor all project budgets
- Work with Branches with regards to coordinating activities of businesses or departments concerned with production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products
- Work with Branches with negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers, distributors, and other organizational entities as necessary
- Facilitating Branch services as needed; may require night/weekend reachability by phone
- Additional related responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in similar role
- Minimum of 10 years managerial experience
- 7+ years’ account management experience
- 7+ years’ crew management experience
- Expertise in industry basics: landscape design, construction, irrigation, maintenance, blueprints, and equipment utilization
- Thorough knowledge of current State and Federal landscaping and zoning laws and related compliance requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet Premier's guidelines for driver eligibility
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
- Aspire (or similar) Field Service Management software experience a plus
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven success in a supervisory/leadership role
- Previous experience with business segment financial management and basic accounting principles/best practices
Physical Requirements
- Extended periods of sitting or standing
- Extended periods using computer and mobile phone
- Occasional stooping, bending, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Travel to worksites/branches
