REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR (Remote work is not available for this position)
- This position is based out of Marshalltown, Iowa
- Travel to SE Region 30% of the time
- SE Region: Region includes the States of VA, SC, NC, GA, MS, AL, TN and FL

This position reports to the Director of US Sales, and this position will manage and direct independent sales representatives within a specific region of the US and is responsible for multi-millions of sales dollars within their territory.
As a Regional Sales Director, you will have the opportunity to:
- Increase sales within assigned territory
- Build and maintain new and long term customer relationship
The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following
- Ability to sell quality products and services over price
- Ability to recruit, train, coach and lead both internal and independent sales reps to success
- Working with Agency Principals, influencing them to invest in strategic initiatives to grow the overall business for MARSHALLTOWN
- Prospect new business with existing accounts and new accounts
- Develop an understanding of each customer’s business model
- Coordinate, attend shows and customer events
Maintain market and customer knowledge to assist in maintaining competitiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products and CRM systems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Superior planning and project management skills.
- Able to work in a team environment and be a self-starter.
- Proven account manager with a minimum 7-10+ years of sales experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales and margin objectives.
- Strong motivation and interpersonal skills required
- Must apply critical thinking skills to determine best strategic approach
- Ability to ensure effective time management for your responsibilities
