Job Overview
SA Rainmaker LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Irrigation and Landscape Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the bidding and proposal process for commercial irrigation and landscaping projects. You'll leverage your knowledge of the industry to prepare accurate estimates, collaborate with project managers, and ensure projects are competitively priced and aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Estimate Preparation: Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and scope documents to create detailed and accurate cost estimates for irrigation and landscaping projects.
- Vendor Collaboration: Obtain quotes from vendors and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and labor costs to ensure competitive pricing.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and submit professional proposals, including detailed breakdowns of costs and project timelines.
- Client Relations: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions that align with their vision and budget.
- Field Assessments: Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements, including soil conditions, topography, and irrigation needs.
- Budgeting: Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to ensure estimates align with budgetary constraints and profitability goals.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of estimates, project documents, and communication logs.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and new technologies to improve the accuracy of estimates and ensure competitive proposals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in irrigation or landscaping estimation is highly preferred. Knowledge of commercial irrigation systems and landscape design is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with estimation software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other project management tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to build relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be willing to travel to job sites as needed.

Work Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- with the possibility of overtime as needed.

- Various residential and commercial sites managed by SA Rainmaker LLC in the local area.
- San Antonio, TX, and surrounding areas.
