What You’ll Do
As the Irrigation Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our irrigation department. You’ll directly supervise irrigation crews, maintain schedules, and assist with pricing, estimating, and fieldwork. Your leadership will uphold the Russell Landscape standard of quality and professionalism.
Responsibilities Include
- Assisting the Irrigation Director with daily operations, including scheduling, updating Exaktime, and preparing 3-day schedules.
- Supervising irrigation crews, ensuring timely and accurate timesheets, inventory control, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Performing hands-on repair and installation of irrigation systems.
- Communicating with customers to provide education, recommendations, and additional service opportunities.
- Ensuring equipment is clean, stored properly, and maintained for peak performance.
- Handling daily reports to the Irrigation Director and communicating project updates to team managers and customers.
What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma, GED, or vocational training, with 7–8 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- A valid Georgia driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- A proven leader with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
