Sales Manager – Landscaping & Snow Operations
Job Summary:
Our Client is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead sales efforts while overseeing the performance of field crews and managing snow removal operations during the winter months. This role requires a hands-on leader who understands the landscaping industry, can build strong client relationships, drive revenue growth, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across all service lines, including landscaping, hardscaping, irrigation, and snow removal.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Manage and support field crews, ensuring high-quality project execution, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
- Oversee and coordinate snow removal operations in the winter, ensuring timely service and proper resource allocation.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to set sales targets, forecast revenue, and identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct site visits, assess project scopes, and prepare accurate estimates and proposals for clients.
- Train and mentor team members on sales techniques, job execution, and customer service best practices.
- Step in as needed to assist with fieldwork, problem-solving, or urgent operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and team management within the landscaping, hardscaping, or snow removal industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage field crews effectively.
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to assist in operations when necessary.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, materials, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in estimating, proposal writing, and CRM software is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
