We have an excellent opportunity for Maintenance Technicians to support our commercial properties in the St. Louis market. Our Commercial Maintenance Technician positions range from those supporting a single, historic building with many tenants to those supporting 30+ smaller properties across the St. Louis market. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including:
- $25 - $30 hourly rate based on experience, with the opportunity for an annual bonus of up to 5%;

- Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm schedule with on-call/after-hours availability for emergencies.
Requirements for Commercial Maintenance Technician:
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving history, and reliable transportation;
- Ability to read and comprehend written manuals and act on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form;
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally and respectfully with internal and external customers and effectively communicate verbally and in writing;
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;
- Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook email communication;
- The following are strongly preferred:
- Up to two years of related experience in construction or maintenance;
- Experience working multiple sites or a historic commercial building;
- Graduate of an accredited technical training program in either HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or painting.
Responsibilities for Commercial Maintenance Technician include:
- Receiving and completing all maintenance requests within 24 hours unless circumstances dictate otherwise;
- Providing HVAC-related assistance including filter replacement, coil cleaning, reviewing Building Management Systems, temperature adjustments, etc.;
- Coordinating third party vendors for complex trade work such as electrical, carpentry, HVAC, plumbing and painting;
- Providing Building Automation System support related to building access software including programming swipe badges and general technical support;
- Repairing/replacing locks, adjusting door hardware and general carpentry skills;
- Troubleshooting plumbing problems and attending to minor plumbing repairs (e.g., changing out bibs, seats, unclogging drains and toilets, tightening connections);
- Changing out light bulbs, lamps, shields, etc.;
- Replacing/installing carpet squares and vinyl floor tile;
- Providing minor carpentry and sheet rock repairs (i.e., removing/replacing door frames, patching holes in walls, resetting handrails, etc.).
