The Landscape Install Crew Leader is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of the organization, specifically in all areas of your onsite install job operations, your crew, and jobsite materials. Ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and within a team environment, and will enjoy leading a landscape install crew while supporting the overall company culture.
Responsibilities- Complete daily tasks safely and with a high level of professionalism and quality
- Make key decisions planning daily tasks and delegate to crew members accordingly
- Timely enter data into LMN (industry specific software)
- Train and lead crew members
- Provide daily communication with operations team
- Read landscaping blueprints, review plan with Operations Manager, and implement the landscape construction plan
- Operate a variety of mechanical equipment and vehicles
- Routinely interact with clients in a positive and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including clean trucks, worksite, and equipment
- Perform snow and ice management services during the winter month
- Take pride in your work, support your team members, wear company gear with pride, attend company events; and engage, post, and support your team on Slack
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years or more landscaping industry experience
- 2 years or more in a leadership role
- Working knowledge of horticultural and hardscaping practices, including pavers, LED lighting, and irrigation
- Strong oral and written communication skills, math skills, job planning skills, and mechanical apititude
- A valid driver's license
- Industry certification(s), or working towards, or interested in obtaining
- Excellent problem solving skills
