Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Houston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities within the commercial property, HOA, and institutional facility management sectors. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, a deep understanding of industry dynamics, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities within the commercial property management, HOA, and institutional facility sectors.
- Utilize industry networks and affiliations (e.g., BOMA, CAI, IFMA) to identify and engage with key stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals for prospective clients.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives set by management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development or sales, specifically within the commercial property management, HOA, or institutional facility sectors.
- Strong network and familiarity with industry associations such as BOMA, CAI, and IFMA.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for managing sales pipelines and client relationships.
- Established relationships with key decision-makers in the Houston market.
- Ability to travel locally as needed.
