About the Role
As a Design-Build Sales Specialist, you will be pivotal in identifying and developing new design-build business opportunities. Collaborating closely with our founder, you will craft strategies to grow revenue in the local market and enhance our brand presence. Your ability to cross-collaborate with our design team and build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners will be key to your success.
Requirements
- Manage a sales pipeline, including qualifying inbound leads, scoping, proposing, contracting, and closing phases.
- Meet and exceed sales targets to contribute to the overall success of the sales team, achieving revenue growth and company objectives (annual target of $5 million in design and build sales).
- Conduct onsite consultations with the assigned designer to understand clients' needs, and provide tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
- Develop, estimate, and present comprehensive proposals, including design contracts, construction contracts, change orders, and ongoing maintenance contracts.
- Collaborate with design and production teams for seamless project handoff and execution to deliver an efficient and quality client experience.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and manage client relationships.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and customer service, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for sales growth.
- Collaborate and partner with high-end architects and home builders to generate sales opportunities and build long-term relationships.
- Be an SLP brand advocate when attending association, community, and networking events, recognizing this role is a critical extension of the company and brand.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.

Skills And Qualifications
- Proven experience in high-end residential and commercial sales, preferably in landscaping or related industries, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping and construction principles, with a focus on sustainable practices.
- Ability to work independently and effectively cross-functionally to achieve desired results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and deliver compelling sales presentations.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to succeed and achieve results.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
Availability Requirements
- Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (weekends as needed for client meetings).
- Flexibility to work remotely 1-2 days a week, depending on business and client needs.
