Position Overview
The Commercial Landscape Branch Manager will oversee the daily operations, financial performance, and customer relations for the Austin branch. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can manage both the business and technical aspects of landscape operations. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, achieving growth targets, and maintaining client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all branch operations, including field staff, equipment, and financial performance.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of landscape professionals, including project managers, foremen, and crew members.
- Manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and ensure profitability of the branch.
- Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards.
- Monitor branch performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Develop operational strategies that align with company goals and market demands.
- Maintain inventory control and ensure the availability of necessary equipment and materials.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of management experience in commercial landscaping or a related field.
- Proven leadership ability with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance, irrigation, and construction.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L statements.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in industry-related software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
