About the Role:
Makinex is seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Manager to drive our Texan customer relationships, sales and margin objectives through efficient planning and time management, and self-education knowledge of markets and products.
You can expect to spend up to 80% of your time on the road, actively engaging with clients, partners, and prospects across Texas. The remaining time will be office-based, working from our headquarters in Mansfield, TX.
What You'll Do:
- Execute the directional sales plan for Texas
- Deliver profitable outcomes and contribute to long-term business growth
- Maintain CRM and opportunities via Hubspot
- Proactively seek new business by developing relationships with potential clients
- Manage potential clients through efficient and effective call planning
- Demonstrate the attributes of our products in application to potential clients
- Stay up to date with new products and pricing
- Self-education of products and market
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Attend trade events (as required)
What We're Looking For:
- 3 to 5+ years outside direct sales experience
- Ability to competently demonstrate products and equipment
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications and experience with CRM software
- Excellent communication and negotiations skills
- Understanding of sales cycle
