We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to grow our client base, manage customer relationships, and ensure revenue targets are met. This role requires a proactive leader who can inspire a sales team, build strong client relationships, and drive business growth in commercial landscaping services.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and municipal landscaping markets.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives.
- Set sales goals and monitor team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing client needs and concerns.
Market Analysis and Planning:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Proposal Development and Negotiation:
- Oversee the creation of detailed project proposals and estimates.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with prospective clients.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth project execution and alignment of sales commitments with service delivery capabilities.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction and ongoing account management.
Reporting and Metrics:
- Track sales metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Analyze data to refine sales strategies and improve performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferably in landscaping, construction, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of landscaping services, including design, maintenance, and installation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
